Warranty Policy
Effective Date: April 2026 | Last Updated: April 2026
1. Overview
VIRON is a reseller of products manufactured by third-party brands including Xiaomi, Powerology, PORODO, Anker, UGREEN, TP-Link, Ruijie, and SpaceX (Starlink). We do not manufacture the products we sell. As such, warranty coverage is provided by the original manufacturer, not by VIRON.
This policy explains how warranty works, what is covered, and how to initiate a claim.
2. Manufacturer Warranty
Each product sold on viron.ae is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and terms vary by brand and product category. As a general guide:
|
Brand |
Typical Warranty Period |
|
Xiaomi |
12 months (manufacturer warranty) |
|
Powerology |
12 months (manufacturer warranty) |
|
PORODO |
12 months (manufacturer warranty) |
|
Anker / UGREEN |
12–18 months (varies by product) |
|
TP-Link / Ruijie |
12–24 months (varies by product) |
|
Starlink accessories |
Refer to SpaceX / Starlink warranty terms |
Always check the product packaging or manufacturer's documentation included with your order for the specific warranty terms applicable to your product.
3. What Warranty Covers
Manufacturer warranties typically cover:
• Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
• Hardware failures under normal use conditions
• Components that stop functioning without physical damage or misuse
4. What Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranties typically do not cover:
• Physical damage caused by dropping, impact, or mishandling
• Damage caused by liquid exposure or environmental factors
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from use with incompatible accessories or power sources
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering
• Consumable parts such as batteries that degrade over time
• Products with removed or altered serial numbers
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, follow these steps:
1. Contact VIRON at support@viron.ae or via WhatsApp with your order number and a description of the issue
2. We will provide you with the relevant manufacturer's UAE service center contact information and warranty claim process
3. You will then deal directly with the manufacturer's authorized service team for assessment and resolution
VIRON's role is to provide you with the correct manufacturer contact details and any supporting purchase documentation you may need (such as your invoice). We are not responsible for the outcome or timeline of manufacturer warranty assessments.
6. Warranty Claim Requirements
To successfully initiate a warranty claim, you will typically need:
• Proof of purchase — your VIRON order confirmation or VAT invoice
• The original product serial number (must be intact and unaltered)
• A clear description and evidence of the defect (photos or video recommended)
7. Out-of-Warranty Repairs
For products outside the warranty period, or for damage not covered by warranty, we recommend contacting the manufacturer's UAE service center directly for paid repair options. VIRON does not offer repair services.
8. Consumer Rights
This warranty policy does not limit your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection. If a product is found to be faulty at the time of delivery, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy.
